The Butterfly chair, also known as a BKF chair was designed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1938 by architects Bonet, Kurchan and Ferrari who were working with Le Corbusier’s firm, and who formed the architectural collective “Grupo Austral” in Buenos Aires
It became the symbol of Argentine national design in the world and is part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York
