PITUCA was born from a family story that, over time, became our way of sharing what we love with the world.
PITUCA was our grandmother.
She was born in 1916 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was a woman of natural elegance, effortless charm, deep simplicity, strong values, and remarkable character. Her authenticity and strength—extraordinary for her time—have always been our greatest source of inspiration.
Extremely hardworking, she taught us from an early age to fight for our dreams, pursue our passions, and always move forward.
All our summers were spent at her country house, “La Pituca”, in the province of San Luis, overlooking the Comechingones Mountains.
Her home carried a unique warmth and an effortless elegance that made it unforgettable. Everything had a purpose: the textures, the natural hides and furs, the carefully selected objects, and every detail that she chose—and often created—with her own hands.
Over the years, I started my family alongside my husband, Eduardo Moron. We are both architects, and since establishing our architecture firm in 1990, we have dedicated ourselves to residential and commercial projects, interior design, and product design.
That childhood in the countryside remained deeply imprinted on my vision, and over time, it became a shared sensibility. The fur throws on our beds, the natural textures, and the many objects that were part of everyday life in that house were, unknowingly, part of our very first inspiration.
In 2010, we created PITUCA as a tribute to my grandmother and the enduring legacy she passed on to us.
Our search through architecture and design led us to create throws, rugs, pillows, and other interior accents using natural hides and furs of Argentine origin. In every object, we share that warmth, the richness of textures, the love for detail, and the pursuit of excellence that define our work.
Over time, my sister Paula joined the project. As PITUCA’s granddaughter, she has always shared this family universe and brought her own vision to our path.
We wanted to share a piece of our Argentine identity with the world: country life, our traditions, our landscapes, natural materials, and handcrafted artistry. PITUCA is our history, our inspiration, and our way of creating.
